Ferris Wheel.

Your seatbelt is fastened, you're in your compartment

The ride lurches to a start carrying you along

Higher and higher as if you're a kite

The pier overlooks the ocean, blue as a

Cloudless sky

You're getting higher and higher, anxiously awaiting the view

Then you're at the top,

Everything is laid out, like a map, before your eyes

You see everyone roaming the boardwalk, tiny as ants

Picking up on faint screams from the roller coaster

Peacefulness slowly engulfs you

Then, you slowly start to leave this happy place

You start to go lower and lower, leaving your serenity behind

Your ants become bigger, the screams get louder

The compartment door is opened, greeting you with the next riders

Analyzing Songs.

So for my analyzing, I chose Drops of Jupiter by Train.

This song is written in a way, to where you get a sense of someone embarking on an adventure in life. There were many types of methods used to try and get this across. First, their was the diction that was used. "Now that she's back from that soul vacation Tracing her way through the constellation". This gets across to me pretty well that the subject of the song, obviously went on some type of adventure. But, as you listen to it more, you kind of realize that it's not a simple adventure, it's like a life journey. "Did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there" Now this line, tells me that it was a journey for finding one's self. So in a way, these can be seen as being symbols within this "journey".

"Now that she's back in the atmosphere""Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day""And did you fall for a shooting star". All of these can be seen as symbols, for things that happen to people, while they go through life. Coming back home after a journey, trying something that you've always wanted to do, falling in love with someone. It is all apart of life, and I think that these references can be seen as symbols towards what we go through in life.

Research Paper.

When I first started to write my paper, I was kind of lost, but after watching Dr. D's video, it got a little easier. I'm a little worried about how and where to incorporate quotes into my paper, and when they'd help make my paper stronger. Something I'm concerned about, is the amount of information I should be including. For instance, one of my paragraphs is has lots of examples on a specific topic, but I don't know if I should be limiting my examples. Or if I should be limiting the basic information load in my paper. So with that being said, I think I'd need help with trying to figure out where to place all of these things so my paper flows, I don't want it to jumble up like a ship wreck.

Some things that were hard for me was trying to figure out how to word my outline, but I think I got the hang of it after a while. It was just plainly hard for me trying to put the paper together from my outline, to my paper. Overall, wording everything to make it flow was probably the biggest problem I had in this process.

SNEAUX week free post.

Well, the past week has been a pretty great one. I remember the week before, I'd been guess-timating about when the next break would come along, and then BOOM this happens. I was pretty grateful to Mother Nature, to say the least. Over the break, we had virtual school, and it was pretty manageable for me. Plus every "virtual school day" I was allowed to sleep in, which was a god given gift. Whenever I wasn't working, I could be found getting caught up on shows, or just reading. The subject that took up most of my time would probably have to be English, because of our research paper. I did a lots of work on it, and still have a bit of tweaking to add to it.

I think the coolest part about our snow days off, was how the teachers made video presentations. It actually helped, with being able to watch the presentation, take notes, and then go and do your work. In terms of going back to full five day weeks, I'm not really looking forward to it.. but I'll survive.
